A kitchen you'll use a thousand times a year. Make it count.
If you're still weighing whether to move forward, this is everything we'd tell you sitting across the table. What changes the day after install. What we do that other shops won't. And why our quotes look different than everyone else's. Read it through, decide for yourself.
The resale number is real. The daily-life number is bigger.
The kitchen is where the most living happens. Coffee in the morning, dinner with family, homework at the counter, holidays with everyone you love. The day after install, here's what changes.
-
01
Wipe-down cleanup, not scrub-down cleanup.
Engineered quartz and properly sealed natural stone wipe clean in seconds. No more scouring grout lines, fighting caulk seams in laminate, or babysitting tile edges that trap everything.
-
02
Built to handle real cooking.
Spilled wine, splattered marinara, a warm casserole on a trivet, the daily reality of a busy kitchen — properly sealed natural stone and quality quartz handle it without a second thought. Far more forgiving than laminate, tile, or solid surface.
-
03
Real prep space you'll actually use.
A solid, level surface changes how you cook. Rolling out dough, breaking down a chicken, hosting a holiday — the kitchen stops fighting you and starts working for you.
-
04
The room your family ends up in anyway.
Conversations happen here. Homework gets done here. The holidays happen here — Thanksgiving, Christmas morning, birthdays, the wine-and-appetizers part of every dinner party. A kitchen you're proud of changes how all of that feels.
-
05
Beautiful and functional, every single day.
A properly fabricated stone top installed correctly is a 30+ year surface. You'll notice how good it looks every morning, and you'll appreciate how well it works every time you cook on it. That doesn't fade.

06
Walking into a kitchen you're proud of.
The room you start every morning in is the room that sets the tone for the rest of the day. A space that looks the way you want it to look matters more than people give it credit for.
Quality you'll still love years from now.
Six things that are standard with every ApexWest project.
1.5" mitered eased edge as the standard, included.
A built-up mitered edge is typically an extra charge. With us, it's included. Two pieces of stone mitred into a substantial 1.5" edge that reads as a high-end finish — on every project, by default.
You can see your slab before it's cut.
Stone has movement, veining, and natural variation that no two pieces share. On most projects, you have the option to view and approve the actual slab going in your house — and we lay out the cuts to put the best movement where you'll see it most.
See how it looks before we cut.
On most projects we can put together a digital rendering that overlays your slab onto your cabinet layout. It gives you a feel for where the veining and movement will land before fabrication starts — so you can make the call with your eyes, not your imagination.
CNC-cut and hand-finished for superior quality.
Every piece is cut on CNC machinery for millimeter-precise dimensions, then hand-finished to soften the edge and bring out the polish. Machine accuracy where it matters. Craftsman touch where it shows.
Digital laser templating, not cardboard.
We template every job with a laser system that maps walls and cabinets to the millimeter. That's how the stone ends up flush against an out-of-square wall without a half-inch caulk line trying to hide the gap.
Licensed General B & C-54 — not just countertops.
Need the old tops demo'd, plumbing disconnected and reconnected, sink swapped, backsplash tiled, or cooktop re-installed? We're licensed and insured to handle the whole thing. One contract. One crew. One point of contact.
Every quote, itemized. Line by line. Clear as day.
Get three quotes from three different shops and you'll usually see three different versions of the same lump sum. "Countertops installed: $7,400." That's it. No breakdown. No way to tell what's actually included.
That's not how we do it. Every ApexWest quote is fully itemized — material, fabrication, edgework, sink cutout, demo, plumbing, install, sealer, the works. You see exactly what you're paying for and exactly where every dollar goes.
If we're more than another bid, you can see why. If we're less, you can see why. Either way, you have what you need to make the call.
Same square footage. Very different job.
When you're comparing quotes, line items hide more than they reveal. Here's what the typical "cheaper" bid actually leaves out — and what's standard with us.
The reviews aren't about the stone. They're about how the project was run.
Anyone can sell you a slab. The difference shows up in how the job is managed start to finish.
STUNNING WORK! FAST! BEST PRICE! Apex completed the job in TWO days. The pricing was fair, the communication was excellent, and the whole process was seamless. The fact that the vision was beautifully executed without sacrificing quality is the cherry on top. Zero work for us homeowners, no stress or headaches, no surprises.
We replaced kitchen counters and a guest bathroom with quartzite. Spoke to several people and obtained other bids. Chad at APEX was the most thorough and knowledgeable we spoke with. Showed up on time, completed the project on time, with minimal hassle or mess. Attended to all the final details to include paint touchup at the very end. Highly recommended.
We choose ApexWest to install our new kitchen countertops, sinks and backsplash. After receiving numerous bids we decided on ApexWest and we're so happy we did! From day one Chad and his team were on time, efficient and professional. His bid was outlined in detail which helped us with our budget. The workmanship was detailed in everything they did.
Wow! Chad and his crew get my strongest recommendation. Workmanship, skills, finishes — all outstanding! Counters, sink/faucet, disposal, plumbing, DW. Can't believe it only took 2 days. One really, for demo and build, a few hours on day 2 for perfect finishing. I'm really impressed. Thanks, guys!
Chad and his team were outstanding. The fabrication required three seams due to the size of our project. They matched the veins or pattern of the quartz much better than I expected and blends very well. Thank you for the great job.
We worked with Chad from Apex on our kitchen renovation and he was incredibly helpful and professional. Went above and beyond adapting to my changing plans, had amazing installers, and was communicative the entire process. I would recommend him and his company to anyone looking for fantastic stone work.
The numbers happen to be on your side too.
Even if resale isn't on your mind today, it's worth knowing the data. Stone countertops are one of the only home upgrades that consistently returns more than it costs.
Let's get you on the schedule.
No pressure. We'll measure the space, walk through your material options, and put together a fully itemized written quote you can compare line-for-line against any other bid you have on the table.
